Cantillon Grenache Noir

Description
Cantillon Grenache Noir is a maceration of 2-year-old lambic on 300 g/L of Grenache Noir grapes grown by Ludovic Engelvin, a natural winemaker in the Languedoc-Roussillon area (Occitania region) of southern France.
History / Other Notes
It is the same beer as Divin Lambic, under a different name. Indeed, Divin was a collaboration between the brewery and Christophe Bosque, owner of De Vini, who provided the first batch of grapes. The name of his brand "Divin Poison" was therefore used for the beer, but as the collaboration ended, it didn't make sense to keep using that name, and it was changed out of respect. Christophe Bosque has worked with Domaine de Vantajou (who also produces the grapes for Grenache Blanc as well as the Syrah and Grenache Noir now used in Saint Lamvinus). Therefore, the grapes used in Divin Lambic are highly likely to have been grown by Domaine de Vantajou, while the grapes used in the version under the Grenache Noir name come from Domaine Ludovic Engelvin.
