This section of the site is not exhaustive but does represent some of the more prevalent independent, private, and home blenders who are actively moving toward the mainstream commercial space, or who are already in the commercial space, but not regularly producing large quantities for commercial purposes.
Please note that unless otherwise noted, the beers from these producers are not available to the public, however they are discussed here because photographs and questions about these beers do periodically surface.

BIIR | Barcelona, Spain | 2014 - Present | Gunther Bensch who is now at BIIR, worked with Girardin, representing them at events. He blended the first Tripel Gueuze at Vicaris. Gunther and his partners are now releasing lambic blends through the brewery BIIR in Barcelona. |
Bobbi | Brussels / Haut-Ittre, Belgium | 2019 - Present | Bobbi’s brewmaster is Kloris Devillé, son of Bart Devillé of the Den Herberg brewery in Buizingen. The equipment is located in Ittre (south of Brussels and Halle) where they own barley fields, but their lambic ages in oak barrels in the cellars of the Saint Géry Halls of Brussels. They have an environmental, socio-cultural and economic approach, meaning they try to reduce the environmental print as much as possible while supporting local actors with an organic market as well as a cultural space, allowing for instance to exhibit art. |
Dansaert | Brussels, Belgium | 2021 - Present | Dansaert is a side-project by brewery Brussels Beer Project in Brussels, that started in 2021 with the first beers launched in 2023. They brew lambic as well as mixed-fermentation brews and hybrids. The project is named after the area of Brussels it is based at. |
Debris Hills | Meerhout, Belgium | 2018 - Present | Debris Hills is a non-commercial homebrewing and blending project lead by Ken Lodewijckx, that regularely experiments with lambic. |
De Brouwer | Halle, Belgium | 2015 - Present | Andy De Brouwer is a well-known belgian sommelier who is at the origin of the idea for 3 Fonteinen's Zenne blends aged in sherry barrels. He also created his own experimental blends using lambic from different breweries like Den Herberg or Ambreus, sometimes blending them with other products as well. |
Donck | Schilde, Belgium | ? - Present | Donck Beers was created by Evert Schraepen, former employee of 3 stars restaurant 't Zilte. His blends are made with culinary experiences in mind, and experiment often with japanese elements like Koji, Sakura blossoms, or Sake. |
Donder | Vlezenbeek, Belgium | 2020 - Present | Donder Brews is actually one of the smallest lambic breweries in the Pajottenland (they also brew Oud Bruin and Saison beers), with a total of just over 80 hectoliters produced during the 2023 - 2024 season on a brewing installation made to brew 3 hectoliters at a time. In 2024 they owned less than 40 oak barrels from France and Italy. |

Huisstekerij h.ertie | Duisburg, Germany | 80's - Present | Ulrich Kremer aka Uli is well known in the lambic scene for making high quality experimental lambic blends (sometimes with other beer styles as well). He pruchases lambic from producers in Belgium and blends in Germany. |
Huisstekerij Selle | Antwerp, Belgium | 2016 - Present | A very small blending project ran by David Selle. Description TBC. |
Kestemont | Dilbeek, Belgium | 2021 - Present | An artisinal family owned and run brewery, based in the old Goossens building bought in 2016. In 2021, equipment was installed and brewing started. All ingredients used (including fruits) are certified organic. |
Kluysbosch | Dilbeek, Belgium | 2021 - Present | Cuvée Kluysbosch is the name of a new series of spontaneously fermented, wood-aged and wild beers from the Angerik brewery in Dilbeek. Brewer Sam De Cuyper is producing small exclusive, experimental batches. He ages lambic in bordeaux casks, whiskey barrels and an Italian foeder of 10 hectolitres. Angerik also supplies wort to other small blenders. |

Neill and Ross | Belfast, Ireland | 2011-2012 | Neill and Ross was a collaboration between two independent blenders in 2012 that created Shot in the Dark, a lambic blend with Girardin lambic and fresh blackberries |
Odilon | Bever, Belgium | 2024 - Present | The blendery created by Thomas Singelé is based in the old Jouret brewery, situated in Bever, a village in the south of the Pajottenland. |

OWA | Brussels, Belgium | 2011 - Present | OWA is a brewery in Belgium specializing in adding a Japanese element to traditional Belgian beers. They blend three fruit lambics using Sakura (cherry blossom), Ume (Japanese plum), and Yuzu (Japanese lemon). |
‘t Pomphuizeke | Ghent, Belgium | 2015 - Present | John is experimenting with different beer blends since 2015, though the 't Pomphuizeke adventure officially started in 2015, and he went commercial in 2024. He uses lambics from Lindemans, De Troch, and Girardin. |
The Gueuze Society (Het Geuzegenootschap) | Eizeringen, Belgium | 2008 - Present | The Gueuze Society occasionally blends beers for their own private use. These beers are not generally available or sold to the public and are available only to members. |
Van Aert | Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, Belgium | 2024 - Present | The brewery was created by Jo Van Aert, founder of the Belgoo brewery, specialized in multi-grain and organic beers. In May 2024 he launched his first three own lambic beers under the brand name Van Aert. |
Vanberg & DeWulf | Cooperstown, NY, USA | 2008 - 2019 | Vanberg and DeWulf was an American import company that specialized in Belgian beers. On occasion, they blended lambic from producers under their own labels. |
Vermeersch | Maldegem, Belgium | 2015 - Present | Vermeersch is an independent blendery experimenting with lambic from different breweries as well as locally sourced fruits, and was created by Mathieu Vermeersch in Maldegem, Belgium. The beers are named after family members. |
W.O.F.D. Vergistingen | Kortrijk, Belgium | 2016 - Present | The blendery based in Kortijk (western Belgium) was created by friends Bram, Steven and Wout in 2016, and started selling beers commercially through a mailing list in 2024. |
