Cantillon Cognac lambic was orignally a set of test batches of lambic brewed in 2003 named F-14 and F-17 and subsequently aged in Cognac barrels for one year.  This test would prove to be an initial step in commercially producing a large-run Cognac barrel-aged lambic in 2007 under the name [[Cantillon 50 Degrees North - 4 Degrees East]].
