A third batch of lambic, presumably brewed in 2010, was put into Cognac barrels and is the main component for the second release of 50 Degrees North - 4 Degrees East. It has yet to make a known appearance in any other forms. The barrels used for this lambic come from the Grosperrin Cognac négociants.
On February 13, 2013 , Cantillon posted pictures of new Cognac barrels with the following caption: ''"We have received today 8 Cognac barrels. These are coming from La Gabare - Cognac Grosperrin in Chermignac (France). The barrels have contained Petite Champagne from 1975 and were emptied November 2012. They will be filled in normally next week."'' <ref name=CantillonFacebook>Cantillon - Facebook, February 13, 2013, [https://www.facebook.com/pages/Brasserie-Cantillon/110627652322553 https://www.facebook.com/pages/Brasserie-Cantillon/110627652322553]</ref>
