Framboos Kriek Tonka is a blend of 1, 2 and 3 year-old-lambics with 3 varieties of raspberries, Schaarbeekse & Gorsem sour cherries, and tonka beans.
History/Other Notes
"We like to let trips and food experiences inspire our blends. For the making of this beer we got the inspiration from a French-style pastry shop in Rome, called Cristalli di Zucchero. They served us mind blowing macarons with tonka beans and fruit. So we decided to start working with tonka beans in combination with raspberries. For this purpose we made a 1-, 2- and 3-year-old lambic blend with 3 varieties of raspberries, Schaarbeekse and Gorsem sour cherries, and tonka beans.
