Description
Cantillon Racine is a 2-year-old Lambic blended with Chardonnay, Tocai Friulano, and Sauvignon Blanc grape pomace. It was created in collaboration with Radikon, a winery in Oslavia, Italy. It was first bottled in 2020 in 750 mL bottles, and the ABV is listed as 6.0%
History / Other Notes
According to Jean, during Arrogant Sour Fest in May 2019, they were tasting orange wine from Radikon with Andrea Rubbi, owner of the natural wine bar L'Ortica in Bologna. "It was impressive because the wine was so close to Lambic. Andrea is friends with Saša Radikon and I asked him if I could contact the winemaker. Saša accepted the collaboration and brought the vinacce (pomace) himself."
