Cantillon Monk's Café Cuvée Kriek

Description
Cantillon Monk's Café Cuvée Kriek is an unblended cherry lambic made specifically for Monk's Café in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The fruit was a Morello (variety: Kelleris) sour cherry sourced in Belgium. The cask of lambic brewed in january 2007 was hand selected by Tom Peters of Monk's Café and Jean Van Roy on September 4, 2008, it was originally supposed to be blended with more straight lambic and become a bottling of regular Kriek 100% lambic, but its character was interesting so it remained unblended with a concentration of 300 g cherries per liter. Kegs were filled on September 26, 2008.
