Cantillon Cuvée U.G.M. Belair Kriek 1997
Description
Cuvée U.G.G. Belair Gueuze 1997 is a classic kriek bottled once in 1997 for the Union des Gens de Métier (an organization created in 1990 by chef Alain Passard, as well as winemakers Didier Dagueneau, Pascal Delbeck and Marc Kreydenweiss formed during a dinner, aiming to support craftsmen and craftswomen working around fermentation - the majority of them being winemakers, but also cidermakers, bakers, etc.), using a special label at their request. The amount of bottles labeled is unknown by the brewery, but is probably low, as it wasn't a full batch of kriek.
