Description

Bofkont Moondance is a blend of 1 and 2-year-old lambic with the addition of Bergeron apricots from the Ardèche region in France, similar to Moonwalk but displaying more acidity. It has been bottled in 750 mL as well as 375 mL during the early homebrewing days of Sam Hellemans.

He describes the beer as such :

"Just as we look every year for the specific barrels with a soft lambic and lactic touch for the Moonwalk, we also encounter other beautiful barrels during this tasting. In this blend we combine the soft lambic with a fresher lambic. These lambics “dance” together with the apricots in the fermentation tank. The apricots are also Bergerons from France. These apricots are characterized by their juicy and fleshy character with a deep flavor."
