Description

History / Other Notes

Cantillon is the first known lambic blender to make a Framboise. In 1909, Jean Van Roy reports that they made more Framboise than Kriek. This continued until production of Framboise stopped during World War I. [1]

Framboise came back in the 1980's when the two batches listed below were made. After that, Cantillon renamed their Framboise to Rose de Gambrinus.
