Cantillon Couvreur
Appearance

Description
Cantillon Couvreur is a gueuze made from a single cask of lambic aged in a whisky barrel from Michel Couvreur, a belgian blender of exceptional whiskies nearby Beaunes in Burgundy, France, known for his use of experimental barrels such as Vin Jaune or Vin de paille, as well as amphoras. According to Michel Couvreur, 90% of the quality of a whisky comes from the barrel rather than the new make spirit from the distilleries he sources from, therefore each barrel has to be of the highest quality and character.
