Description
Lindemans Cuvée Lambikstoemper, De Lambikstoempers 20th Anniversary Oude Geuze is an oude geuze released in 2019 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the De Lambikstoempers tasting group. It was released in 750ml bottles and is labeled as 6% ABV.
History / Other Notes
The label states the geuze was blended with 12,5 hectoliters from foeder #1007 (brewed November 14, 2014), 6,25 hectoliters from foeder #1009 (brewed March 10, 2017), and 6,25 hectoliters from foeder #1215 (brewed February 20, 2017). The blending session took place on April 12, 2018, and the bottling session took placed on May 11, 2018. The bottles were then cellared at the brewery until the end of 2018. As of January 2019 the bottles were cellared in the Lambikstoempers cellar. The release of Cuvée Lambikstoempers batch two to the public was on August 24 2019 during the 20th annual Lambikstoempers beer weekend in Alsemberg.
Cuvée Lambikstoemper 2019 was available to members of the De Lambikstoempers group, two local beer shops, as well as online via various Belgian mail order shops.
