In October of 2013, Cantillon posted a picture on Facebook of a single barrel with the words :

: ''"Riesling 2013 Clos Liebenberg, Lambic Janvier 2012"''

and the caption, :

: ''"waiting for the new brew season, we continue some experiment with our wine grower friends. For the first time, we will try a blend of Riesling wort and a two years old Lambic. The wort is coming from the Domaine Valentin Zusslin in Alsace."''

Sixty liters of Riesling was added to a barrel of tw two year old lambic to produce he beer with a stated goal of including a strong wine yeast in the lambic.

The Zusslin domain, located in Alsace encompasses three total vineyards. Zusslin describes Clos Liebenberg as follows:
