Cantillon Public Brewing Sessions

Overview

Each year, Cantillon opens its doors during a brewing session to allow the public to view the brewing process. The first public brewing session took place on February 21, 1981 with the name brassin spécial. The 2014 Public Brewing Session took place on November 15, 2014 and included tours every 30 minutes following this schedule:

• 6:30-9:00 Brewing process
• 6:30-12:00 Barrel cleaning "ancient method"
• 9:00-13:00 Filtration and hopping
• 13:00-15:00 Cooking
• 15:30 Pumping of wort into the cooling tun
