Description
Lindemans Cassis is a filtered, pasteurized, and sweetened lambic with black currant juice and flavoring added. It is labeled as 3.5% ABV and released in 25cl, 35,5cl, 37,5cl, and 75cl bottles.
History / Other Notes
Lindemans Cassis has been available since 1980 and is made with one-year old lambic.[1] Since 2012, all sweetened Lindemans beers are sweetened with the natural sweetener Stevia. Before 2012 they were sweetened with Acesulfame K. Before bottling, the sweetened beers are put through a centrifuge for filtration.[2]
