Description

Lindemans Kriek is a filtered, pasteurized, and sweetened lambic with cherry juice and cherry flavoring added. It is 3.5% ABV and released in 25cl, 33cl, 37,5cl, and 75cl bottles.

History / Other Notes

Lindemans Kriek as consumers know it today has been available since 1979. Twenty-five percent cherry juice by volume is added before filtering and pasteurization.[1] Since 2012, all sweetened Lindemans beers are sweetened with the natural sweetener Stevia. Before 2012 they were sweetened with Acesulfame K. Before bottling, the sweetened beers are put through a centrifuge for filtration.[2]
