Brabrux was founded in 1871, in Wolvertem, Belgium. It became a conglomeration of several other lambic breweries including [[Brasserie Vanderperre | Vanderperre]], Taymans, Ch. & R De Keersmaecker, then later acquired by [[Brasserie Belle Vue | Belle-Vue]] in 1969.
