Armand & Tomme

Description

Armand Debelder and Tomme Arthur of The Lost Abbey blended of 3 Fonteinen barrels, four year old Boon lambic, and Armand's own lambic from 2008. This geuze was bottled on February 17, 2011.

History / Other Notes

Oude Geuze Armand & Tomme (labeled as Armand & Tommy) is a geuze released by Drie Fonteinen at the Sour and Bitter Festival in Copenhagen in May of 2012.

Unsubstantiated Stories

There are stories circulating that Tomme Arthur was not actively involved in the creation of this blend. Mr. Arthur was not present at the Sour and Bitter Festival where this was released and did not have bottles at the brewery. It is unclear how Tomme's name came to be misspelled on the label.
