Description
Belle Mirabelle is a gueuze bottled in 2020 and aged on Mirabelle plums (a sweet yellow plum very present in the north-east of France, especially in the Lorraine region).
History / Other Notes
Belle Mirabelle is a collaboration between Cantillon, the restaurant Liesse in Brussels and Bouchée Double, a design studio in Brussels that works with chefs and other food professionals to create original visuals.
The fruits which are very delicate arrived at the brewery overripe, and for that reason the final beer displayed more acetic notes than usual for Cantillon beer.
