Description

As is the tradition in a lambic brewer's family, Jean held back part of this blend for his son and part was bottled in 375 mL bottles, labeled as Florian Van Roy and given to family and friends instead of sugared almonds, as it is usually the tradition in Belgium to offer to close ones after a birth.[1]
Jean believed that this blend would age nicely and held back 1,000 750 mL bottles from this blend. They were labeled with the yellow Cantillon Gueuze label and 1996 was written at the bottom.
