Description

Oude Groseille Rouge Tilquin à l'Ancienne is a lambic with red currants added. It is available in 375 mL and 750 mL bottles and listed at 6.6% ABV.

History / Other Notes

The bottled version of Oude Groseille Rouge Tilquin à l'Ancienne was first released in the fall of 2018. It was previously part of the Experimental Fruit Series #1 which was available on draft. For the 2018 bottlings of Groseille Rouge, two tanks were filled with lambic on top of the redcurrants. The tank used for the 37,5cl bottling was fully topped off during the maceration process while the tank used to bottle the 75cl version of the first batch was not completely topped off which resulted in a lower extraction and slightly less color than the 37,5cl bottlings.
