Poulsard is a red | Poulsard is a light red grape from the Jura region in France, with a very thin skin that makes it sensitive to climate or insects attacks. It gives to the wines it produces of a very light red color, with sometimes a light copper or "onion skin" hue (causing it sometimes to be mistaken for a Rosé type wine) with almost to virtually no tannins translating into the glass. It diplays flavours reminding of red currants, strawberry, and spices. | ||
