Cantillon Poulsard is a blend of 2-year-old Lambic and Poulsard pomace aged 3 months in an amphora. Poulsard is a light grape from the Jura region in France, with a very thin skin that gives the wines it produces of a very light red color, with sometimes also a light copper or "onion skin" hue (causing it sometimes to be mistaken for a Rosé type wine) with almost to virtually no tannins. It diplays flavours reminding of red currants, strawberry, and spices.
