History
Originally founded 1871 in Wolvertem, by Jan Jozef De Keersmaecker as the De Keersmaecker brewery. In 1967, Brabrux became a conglomeration of several other lambic breweries including Vanderperre, Taymans, Ch. & R. De Keersmaecker, then later acquired by Belle-Vue in 1969. The brewery was closed in 1990 by De Neve under the ownership of Belle-Vue. The former brewery site now houses apartments and a fitness center.
