About

My first lambic experience was probably a Lindemans Framboise, but more memorably was Cantilon Fou Foune on draft at the Map Room, close to ten years ago. Half the bar turned in anticipation of "sour beer face", but i'm sure it looked more like I was being hit by a faith healer. That was my revelatory moment.

More recently, after reading LambicLand and Geuze & Kriek, I wanted to know more about the unwritten history of lambic,
and these books were the key inspiration for my research project on historical lambic breweries that followed.
Thanks to the authors for their tireless work and inspiration.
