History
Early Days
Brasserie Limbourg was founded 1906 in Anderlecht by Edouard Limbourg (1877-1940). Limbourg was a lambic blender that produced Gueuze & Kriek, and was located at 58 Sergeant De Bruynestraat. Edouard Limbourg was later assisted by his sons Nestor (1905-1984) and Edgard (1903-1992). Nestor and Edgard succeeded their father, and Nestor ran the blendery until it's closure sometime in the 1960's.
