Oude Kriek Cuvée René was first released in 2007. It is named for René Lindemans, who was the 6th generation master brewer at Lindemans before retiring and passing his share of the brewery on to his son in 2006. Lindemans first produced oude kriek in 1961. [1]

Export to the U.S.

A label approval for Lindemans Oude Kriek Cuvée René was approved by the TTB on July 19, 2015.[2] In November 2015, the U.S. importer for Lindemans officially confirmed that Oude Kriek Cuvée René would be available in the United States starting in February 2016.
