History
Originally a merger between De Boeck & Goossens in 1938, Brasseries Unies eventually became a large conglomerate of 9 breweries in total: De Boeck, Dewolfs, Goossens, Winderickx, Toussaint, Brasserie de la Couronne/Van Der Borght, De Coster-Heymans, Brasserie Louis & Emile De Coster, and Vandenkerckhoven. The acquisition of the other Brussels breweries began in 1953. Brasserie Unies was acquired and closed by Belle-Vue in 1969.
