It is an extension of Mikkeller's Spontanale Series of spontaneously fermented beers and is a blend of lambic and fresh basil. The first batch was limited to 25,000 screen printed 75cl bottles and released in Spring 2015. A second batch was bottled in July 2015.

It is an extension of Mikkeller's Spontanale Series of spontaneously fermented beers and is a blend of lambic and fresh basil. The first batch was limited to 25,000 screen printed 75cl bottles and released in Spring 2015. A second batch was bottled in July 2015.

Lindemans / Mikkeller SpontanBasil was approved for distribution in the United States on August 1, 2015.[1] Bottles were available in the U.S. as of January 2016.
