Publitasting is a blendery started in 2021 by Geert Demuynck.

During a visit with colleagues in 1981, upon tasting his first lambic, Geert Demuynck became a lambic enthusiast. The lambic was served still from an oak barrel at the "De Koekoek" café in the town of Asse. At this time, he was working for the national TV channel BRT. He immediately started researching everything related to lambic and geuze, and over the next several years, visited many breweries and attended various public events.
 
In 2016, the idea of creating his own project began to bloom, and a plan was set in motion. In 2021, he founded Publitasting.
 
Most Publitasting beers are intended to be limited editions and/or original blends, rather than traditional geuzes and krieks. Publitasting uses a multitude of barrels and added ingredients, with the intent to create perfect complements to unique food pairings.
 
There are no future plans for brewing, as blending offers the possibility and freedom to create many unique small batches.

Publitasting is a blendery started in 2021 by Geert Demuynck.

History / Side Notes
