During the maceration process, the tank was only 2/3 full because there were not enough grapes to top the tank. By mistake, when some of the workers at Cantillon were asked to top a Rosé de Gambrinus tank, they topped both the Gambrinus tank as well as the Mourvèdre-Carignan tank beside it. Description
Cantillon Mourvèdre-Carignan is a 2-year-old lambic macerated with Mourvèdre and Carignan grapes. It was released for on-site consumption at the brewery in 2019 and bottled in 750 mL format. It is listed as 6.5% ABV.

Mourvèdre-Carignan is a unique grape lambic in Cantillon's portfolio.
