Description

Bofkont Barbera Blue Label is a geuze blend of 1, 2 and 3-year-old lambics with the addition of barbera grapes from the Piemonte region in Italy, and is a collaboration with La Carlina winery near the city of Alba. The blue label version of the blend is not refermented in the bottle and is therefore still, while the white label version is carbonated, as it went through a refermentation in the bottle.

Side Notes

The vintage indicated on the front of the label indicates the year the blend was put together into the barrel, not the bottling year.
