Very little is known about this beer. It is briefly referenced on the two links provided below. If you can provide any additional information, photographs, or bottle to help further the [http://lambic.info lambic.info] initiative, please contact [[User:Bill|Bill]] or [[User:Adam|Adam]]
Cantillon Super Gueuze is a standard gueuze using a different label for marketing purposes at several occasions over several years during the 1980s. It consists of 1, 2, and 3-year-old lambic and was bottled in 375 mL and 750 mL format. The term ‘Super’ does not designate anything different about this blend of gueuze, but instead, was a marketing term inspired by an old commercial by Paul Cantillon found at the brewery. With lambic sales declining in the 1980s, Jean-Pierre Van Roy decided to use the term ‘Super Gueuze’ in an effort to boost sales.

The last paragraph on this label would literally translate to "Lay me back down on my side at cellar temperature." This would suggest that bottles were shipped or stored upright at the point of sale, and appears to be an invitation to the bottle's new owner to store it horizontally, at cellar temperature. To date, this constitutes the only known documentation of Cantillon suggesting horizontal storage of their products.

"Artisanal gueuze from Brussels. Pure lambic (1, 2 and 3 years). All natural. No preservatives or chemical additives. No saccharine. Living, ageable beer. Store horizontally at cellar temperature."
