Cantillon Super Gueuze is a standard gueuze using a different label for marketing purposes at several occasions over several years during the 1980s. It consists of 1, 2, and 3-year-old lambic and was bottled in 375 mL and 750 mL format. The term ‘Super’ does not designate anything different about this blend of gueuze, but instead, was a marketing term inspired by an old commercial by Paul Cantillon found at the brewery. With lambic sales declining in the 1980s, Jean-Pierre Van Roy decided to use the term ‘Super Gueuze’ in an effort to boost sales. | |||

Description
