Lindemans Kriek as consumers know it today has been available since 1979. 25% percent cherry juice by volume is added before filtering and pasteurization.[1] Since 2012, all sweetened Lindemans beers use the natural sweetener Stevia. Before 2012, they were sweetened with Acesulfame K. Before bottling, the sweetened beers are put through a centrifuge for filtration.[2]

In 2016, the Lindemans line of sweetened fruit lambics received new label approval in the United States (pictured below).
