This is one of two releases in rum barrels filled together, the second one being Trinidad rum. The Trinidad version is more mellowed with notes of raisins soaked in rum, brown sugar, and toffee while the lambic base is still very present. The Jamaican version is displaying intense and rich notes of dark caramel, molasses, vanilla and spices at the moment of its release, putting the barrel characteristics forward. | |||

16-month-old lambic brewed on December 8th, 2021 and aged for 8 months in a freshly emptied Jamaican rum barrel. Y represents the brew season (2021-22) and 12 the lambic brew number used for this beer.
This is one of two releases in rum barrels filled together, the second one being Trinidad rum. The Trinidad version is more mellowed with notes of raisins soaked in rum, brown sugar, and toffee while the lambic base is still very present. The Jamaican version is displaying intense and rich notes of dark caramel, molasses, vanilla and spices at the moment of its release, putting the barrel characteristics forward.
