Wets had taken over the beer business from his brother-in-law Vandergucht in 1924. His son Guillame took over shortly after in 1928, expanding the business. In 1977, son-in-law Michel De Neve continued the business, and stopped brewing in 1980. De Neve continued Kriek production until 1987, and Girardin continued production until 1993. | ||
