Originally a merger between [[Brasserie De Boeck | De Boeck]] & [[Brasserie Goossens | Goossens]] in 1938, Brasseries Unies eventually became a large conglomerate of 8 breweries in total: [[Brasserie De Boeck | De Boeck]], [[Brasserie Goossens | Goossens]], [[Brouwerij Winderickx | Winderickx]], Toussaint, [[Brasserie de la Couronne | De Kroon (Couronne)]], [[Brasserie De Coster-Heymans | De Coster-Heymans]], [[Brasserie Louis & Emile De Coster]], and [[Brasserie Vandenkerckhoven | Vandenkerckhoven]]. The acquisition of the other Brussels breweries began in 1953. Brasserie Unies was acquired and closed by [[Brasserie Belle Vue | Belle-Vue]] in 1969. History

Originally a merger between De Boeck & Goossens in 1938, Brasseries Unies eventually became a large conglomerate of 9 breweries in total: De Boeck, Dewolfs, Goossens, Winderickx, Toussaint, Brasserie de la Couronne/Van Der Borght, De Coster-Heymans, Brasserie Louis & Emile De Coster, and Vandenkerckhoven. The acquisition of the other Brussels breweries began in 1953. Brasserie Unies was acquired and closed by Belle-Vue in 1969. It was originally located at 28-44 Rue Van Hoegaerde in Koekelberg, and the buildings were torn down for high rise apartments. 1 2 3 4 5
