The brewery and warehouse buildings were purchased from Réne Troch following the economic crisis in 1927. This brewery was originally founded as a lambic brewery (Brasserie Hygiëna) in 1860 by Louis Paul, which began bottling lambic in 1875. In 1898, Pierre Troch took over the brewery, which was later transferred to his son Réne Troch in 1919.

[1] According to Frank Boon, the brewery and cafe were located on Edingensesteenweg in Hondzocht, a historical property he still owns and uses to store Marriage Parfait gueuze. 1 2 The unconfirmed location is believed to be at Edingensesteenweg 777A in Lembeek. In a 2010 article, Frank Boon mentions the 1927 closure and street name of the brewery, and in a second article, Boon mentions that the brewery cellar runs under multiple buildings. 1 [1] The brewery warehouse buildings can be seen at the end of this video, with the former cafe building in the foreground.
