Cuvée de Florian is a gueuze [[Cantillon Classic Gueuze 100% Lambic|Cantillon Gueuze]] blend from 1996, the year that Florian Van Roy was born. It was created for the birth named Cuvée de Florian in honor of Florian van 's birth. <ref name=Jean>Jean Van Roy , Communication with Lambic.Info, February 1, 2015</ref> ==History / Other Notes==As is the tradition in 1996a lambic brewer's family, Jean held back part of this blend for Florian. Bottles were set aside More was bottled in 375ml bottles, labeled [[Cantillon Florian Van Roy|Florian Van Roy]] and given to agefamily and friends.<ref name=Jean>Jean Van Roy, Communication with Lambic. EventuallyInfo, February 1, 2015</ref>  Jean believed that this beer blend would age nicely and held back 1000 750ml bottles from this blend. They were labeled with the yellow Cantillon Gueuze label and 1996 was sold in 750ml written at the bottom. In roughly 2001, Jean brought these aging bottles out of the cellar.
