__NOTOC__
== Description ==
Lindemans Loerik (Flemish for 'lazy boybones') was a [[Gueuze Cuvée René]] blend from 1996 that did not referment in the bottle. A brewer does not set out to brew a still gueuze, so batches like this are unique when they occur. Lindemans Loerik had additional sugars due to the lack of bottle fermentation. Over time however, this beer did slowly ferment, creating light carbonation and a unique body. This Cuvee Rene blend only had 1 and 2 year old lambic.
This beer was sold in Sweden as Lindemans Oude Lambik Lambic as seen on the label pictured here.
==Unsubstantiated Information==
Online references indicate that this Cuvee Rene blend included had 1 and 2 year old lambic. This has not been confirmed.
Bottles sold at [[De Heeren van Liedekercke]] in Belgium indicate on the menu that this is a batch from the year 2000, however there is no indication of a Loerik other than the 1996 batch. There are also bottles mentioned in online forums from 1989 however this cannot be validated either (and that would pre-date Gueuze Cuvée René's creation).
