Vander Linden produced [[Duivels Bier]], a spontaneously fermented sour brown ale that was very popular regionally from 1952-2001. The brand and recipe were acquired from Pêtre Freres, another Halle brewery that had closed, where it had been brewed since 1883. In 2003, [[Brouwerij Boon|Frank Boon]] acquired the rights to the name and continues producing it today. <ref>[http://www.biernet.nl/bier/brouwerijen/belgie/vlaams-brabant/halle/vander-linden 3]</ref> Delplancq, p. 272. <ref name=Delplancq>[httphttps://biere-et-brasseries-bruxelleswww.skynetblogslambic.beinfo/archive/2009/06/25/les-brasseries-de-lambic-xviiie-xxe-s-3Les_Brasseurs_du_Lambic:_Données_Historiques_et_Géographiques.html Delplancq, Thierry.
