History / Other Notes
Magic Land Theater is a theater located in Schaerbeek. In May of 2017 it was announced that due to a loss in public funding, Cantillon would be helping with a fundraiser by selling bottles of Magic Lambic for €30 during an evening of performances in June 2017. Approximately 1,000 75cl bottles were produced. The beer itself is a remake of Zwanze 2016 which was initially a remake of an older recipe for Cantillon Framboise. On June 7, the bottles were available for takeaway at the theater, and two jeroboams were also auction with the high bid being €850. Prior to the Magic Land event, unlabeled bottles were served at the 2017 Quintessence
