== Description ==
Chapeau Banana is a sweetened lambic with natural banana juice flavor added and natural sweeteners according to the label. It was first brewed in 1980 and was the first banana beer brewed in Europe<ref name=Banana>https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chapeau_fruitbier</ref>. The beer was originally named "Abondance" labels denote the same beer, and were used before the "ChapeauBanana" name became the standard.<ref name=GeuzeKriek>Jef Van den Steen, [[Books#Geuze & Kriek: The Secret of Lambic Beer|Geuze & Kriek: The Secret of Lambic Beer]], 2012</ref> It is 3% ABV.
