Lambic brewer & blender, founded by Jozef De Vits in Lembeek, Belgium in 1927. Jozef De Vits was a local tavern owner and gueuze-blender. The brewery and warehouse buildings were purchased from Réne De Troch following the economic crisis in 1927. This brewery was originally founded in Lembeek as a lambic brewery [[Brasserie_Hygiëna|(Brasserie Hygiëna)]] in 1860 by Louis Paul, which began bottling lambic in 1875. In 1898, Pierre Troch took over, then in 1927 due to the economic crisisbrewery, the brewery which was sold by later transferred to his son Réne Troch, to Jozef De Vits, a local tavern owner and gueuze-blenderin 1919.
