== History / Other Notes ==Fill me 3 Fonteinen Druivengeuze was bottled inOctober of 2000 and was available for on-site consumption primarily at [[Akkurat]].

Fill me The question of exactly what grapes were used to make the Druiven Geuze and whether or not they were different from the grapes used to make [[3_Fonteinen_Malvasia_Rosso|3 Fonteinen Malvasia Rosso]] is still unsolved, as no concise explanation has been given by the brewery as of 2014. The back label of the beer notes that the beer was made using "using 35% 'unique' grape juice", though the specific type of grape is not mentioned. However, there appears to be an attempt at naming the grape as ''Malsoisia di Sepia'', though no grape with that name exists. Interestingly, a [http://olutopas.info/foorumi/showthread.php?tid=2167 Finnish beer forum] discusses this Druiven Gueuze specifically in 2011. Two different posts cite conversations with Lydie Debelder, Armand's wife, noting that the grapes used for this beer were actually of Belgian origin and not Italian. Another poster notes that Lydie has specifically said Pinot Noir grapes we used for this first batch. This would conflict with the front label of the beer that specifically notes that Italian grapes were used.  Additionally, the European Union has recognized the Flemish-Brabant area as a protected grower of the ''tafeldruif'', or delete metable grape, which are grown in greenhouses. Many varietals of tafeldruif are grown from various other countries.<ref name=Tafeldruif>http://www.tafeldruif.be/page.php?mid=30&pid=107 - Tafeldruif</ref> There is currently more research being done as to the origin and varietal of grape used for this beer. ==Label Translation==<u>Front Label Text:</u><br>Blend of 1-year old 3 Fonteinen Lambic with Italian grapes aged in oak barrels.
