Cantillon Hopduvel 10 jaar Kriek
Description
Cantillon Hopduvel 10 jaar Kriek is a special kriek lambic bottled for the Hopduvel Pub's (now closed) 10th anniversary in 1990 using lambic from 1987 that was fruited in 1989. It contained 200 kg of Schaerbeekse cherries in a single 650 L barrel. Jean-Pierre Van Roy described these as a predecessor to the current Lou Pepe series[1]. The beer is briefly referenced in the three links provided below. The price for this beer is listed as 150 Belgian Francs, or about $4.38 USD for a 375 mL in June of 1994.[2]
