Description

A Loerik is a blend of lambics intended to be gueuze. However, for some reason, the beer fails to referment. In 1998, a Cantillon gueuze was bottled that did exactly that. Sooner or later, these beers usually go through some form of refermentation which was the case with this batch.

History / Other Notes

In 2003 and 2004, Cantillon occasionally would open bottles for brewery visitors. Beginning in April 2004, bottles were sold commercially, featuring Poje on the label. At a minimum, bottles were distributed to bars and stores in Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, and the United States.
