Description
Cantillon Zwanze 2013 is the sixth release in the Zwanze series of beers. This series has been released every year since 2008, and beginning in 2011 with a coordinated celebration around the world at various beer bars, breweries, and restaurants. The 2013 edition is a top-fermented abbey ale closely resembling a Belgian tripel in style with lambic added.
History / Other Notes
Zwanze 2013 was released around the world on September 14, 2013. It was mostly available on draught but was also available at the brewery in 75cl bottles for drinking on premises. The beer was brewed in March of 2012 and was fermented for four weeks in stainless steel tanks before being blended with lambic. It was then transferred into 400 liter barrels of diffeent origins, matured for six month and blended. After blending it was placed into kegs and bottles and reached 7.2% ABV.[1]
