Description
Cantillon Drogone Lambic (previously labeled as Aglianico with a generic grape label) is a three-year old lambic macerated for 10 weeks with 300 kilograms of Aglianico grape vinacce in lambic fermented with gross lees from Cantina Giardino in Italy. Its ABV is unknown and it was bottled in 75cl bottles. No kegs were produced.
History / Other Notes
This bottling and its label is based off of Cantina Giardino's Drogone Wine and is the second time that the brewery and the winery have worked together on a blend. Prior to being blended with the lambic, the grapes went through a 3 month pellicular maceration in chestnut wood barrels.
