Cantillon Menu Pineau

← Cantillon

Description

Menu Pineau is a grape lambic made with the Menu Pineau grape from the Loire region of France. This is the same region as the Pineau d’Aunis grape. Menu Pineau grapes are also known as Arbois or Petit Pineau and are known for their low acidity and often used to soften high acidity wines.[1]

For Zwanze 2011, Cantillon blended different batches of lambic with Menu Pineau and Pineau d’Aunis grapes. In 2016, bottles of the original Menu Pineau began appearing for on-site consumption at the brewery in very limited numbers.
