Description
Cantillon Hopduvel 10 jaar Kriek is a special kriek lambic bottled for the Hopduvel Pub's (now closed) 10th anniversary in 1990 using lambic from 1987 that was fruited in 1989. It contained 200kg of Schaerbeekse cherries in a single 650l barrel. Jean Pierre Van Roy described these as a predecessor to the current Lou Pepe series[1]. The beer is briefly referenced in the three links provided below. The price for this beer is listed as 150 Belgian Francs, or about $4.38 USD for a 37,5cl in June of 1994.[2]
